Scriptable Render Pipeline
I’ve been reworking last year’s prototype of the main Linda & Joan game to use Unity’s new-ish Scriptable Render Pipeline.
I now have room rotation, room hiding, ghosting, lighting, mirrors and stencils (to see though doors into hidden rooms) all working. Shadows work when light passes through hidden or ghosted objects. Mirrors even reflect original versions of hidden and ghosted objects!
Lights and mirrors
I am back at work on the main Linda & Joan game. I’m currently rebuilding the environment engine that I developed for my earlier prototypes, based on the work I did for the prologue, which really expanded upon the visual aesthetic. I just finished a big chunk of work on lighting and mirrors.
