In-game devices

As well as verbal conversations, the playable characters in Linda & Joan are able to send text messages to each other and some non-playable characters.

Russell has a smartphone, which he is (usually) always carrying. Linda and Joan have tablets, which can’t be carried around and have to be used in a specific location. Characters can use their devices to send or receive texts at any point in the game (within reason), even during verbal conversations or other interactions.

Here is a peek at Russell’s smartphone in use:

Note: New subscribers not in the USA, Canada, or Mexico will receive all ten issues in one shipment, once they have all been released, which is estimated to be at the end of 2022 or early 2023. This is because international subscribers were running into delivery problems and outsized import-tax bills. This feels sad — sorry! But, joining today means you’ll still receive the current ten-issue discount. Shipping is calculated at checkout. All prices are in USD.
