Check your phone while using the exercise bike? Sure!
Natural Conversations
Demo of two controllable characters: texting during a conversation; walking away from someone who's texting; talking from different rooms; side conversations; texting while walking.
More motion capture…
Head scratching’ and arm scratchin’.
Motion Capture Tests
I have a Rokoko motion-capture suit and have spent the last few days trying to figure out a workable rigging and animation pipeline. Behold… a motion-captured idle animation live in the game!
Zine #7
Issue #7 is out now! It includes:
Bumper 28-page-edition zine with cardstock cover
Three full-color photographs in a slip envelope
Rob’s Ramblings by Robert Quinn
Double-sized puzzle piece (6 of 9)
Protective poly sleeve
Member’s copies are already in the mail. You can join Zine Club to receive all ten issues or purchase Issue #7 individually.
The Garage
The things you can do in the game are increasing! You can now be weird and lock yourself in the garage overnight.
(Excuse the sometimes janky transitions, flower-less back garden, and junk-free garage — Linda & Joan is a work-in-progress.)
Mirrors and The Outside
Mirrors inside buildings now show opposite walls—even when they are ghosted in the player's current view—and reflect what is outside and visible through windows.
Day vs Night
Linda & Joan features in-game time. The sun moves across the sky, from sunrise to sunset, as each story-minute ticks by. These are images of Linda’s house during daytime and nighttime.
